Daniel Laurence

Daniel Laurence is a trainer, facilitator, manager and team member of the Human Potential Consultants Inc. (HPCI) since 2007.   

Since then, he has delivered training to a variety of participants from director, manager, police officer, investigator to auditor.  He knows how to adapt to the needs of his participants.    

He is a lecturer and speaker at numerous national and international conferences. He developed and delivered numerous training on topics such as:  

  • Interviewing and investigative skills; 
  • Facilitation skills; 
  • Communication skills; 
  • Body language (verbal and nonverbal);  
  • Negotiation skills; 
  • Reading people; and  
  • Detecting deception. 

He delivered many training to a gamut of organizations from the private and public sectors, for example: 

  • Auditor General of Canada; 
  • Auditor General of Manitoba 
  • Auditor General of New Brunswick;  
  • Canada Council for the Arts;
  • Service Canada; 
  • Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada; 
  • Office of the Privacy Commissioner; 
  • Canadian Comprehensive Audit Foundation; 
  • Department of National Defence; 
  • Transportation Safety Board; 
  • Transport Canada; 
  • Industry Canada, etc. 

He is in his 29th year as a police officer in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) serving in different detachments across Canada and the Artic.  He represented Canada as a member of the famous RCMP Musical Ride, travelling extensively across Canada, US and Europe.   He continues independent studies in the areas of neuro-linguistic programming (N.L.P.) and psychology.  He has had his private pilot’s license since 1999.  

Daniel is fluent in both English and French.
